Snackpets was founded as an independent business unit of Freshwater Fishtrading, a specialised processor and dryer of fish for human consumption based in the Netherlands.

With more than 25 years of experience in fish drying, the company expanded in 2020 into producing premium pet food snacks, using high-quality by-product streams from the fish industry.

Thanks to an extensive international customer network, Snackpets products are already distributed in multiple countries across Europe.
